Wheelie hot nights first annual, was without a doubt, a success. First off we can’t thank you all enough who came out on Saturday afternoon bringing so much positive support.
The whole idea behind ‘Wheelie Hot Nights’ is and was to bring the community together within the vintage car, Hotrod and motorcycle scene. Giving everyone a good excuse to to get their wheels in motion and have a place to show them off.
We have created an atmosphere in the workshop to compliment this idea come reality, and it was incredible to house many early steel bumpers and bikes that almost took you back in time at first glance whilst looking down the street.
Helping this sense of time travel was Skinned lizard, the two man band who travelled from Perth and covered some of the most iconic blues and rock songs there is. The pork and beef sliders were certainly finger licking good and wasn’t possible without The Equinox restaurant and bar supplying everyone’s full stomachs. Washing those down was helped by our friends at Gage roads brewery who supplied us with all the cold beverages that left everyone with a buzz of excitement.
Post event was easy to be left ready for the second annual, and planning is in the works. We want to make sure at our future events that everyone with their bikes or cars gets to show it off near the work shop, keeping those Kia’s and Landcruiser’s out of sight to get that first class look at time travel!
